Happy After The Day of The Dead

It's so hard to believe that the month of October has already come and gone. For me the celebration of what the world calls "Halloween" is a great time and the days that follow where we honor our victorious dead is even more special.

Halloween as it is called has always been such a day of light for me. Despite all the people who talk about how awful it is and how dark it is, I see it as a day of light. We believe that this is the time where the veil between the two worlds is the lightest. Souls as well as us can pass more freely between the two worlds. While darkness can take advantage of this, I see the good things in it. I will not be able to cover all of them but let me give you  a few.

First, this is the one day where children and adults dress up as something they aspire to be, something they want to become, something they might already be. Most costumes are hero costumes. It is so profound to think that children on this day try to become the hero they admire, thereby bringing those traits out from themselves. Believing they are Batman or Spiderman and darkness will not touch them. This is not only a part of who they are already, but it can also spark that realization that the monsters in my dreams cannot hurt me because I am such and such.  It's something to really think about sometime.

Unfortunately I do not have a lot of time, I hope everyone enjoyed the past weekend and I hope all who have little ones could truly feel and see the great hero that exists in each child.

Blessings to all.

Good Day,

Bria
