So here we are again, another Monday and the last week of the month. We celebrated my daughter's birthday yesterday and enjoyed the great weather and wonderful company. I feel she had a pretty good birthday but you would have to ask her yourself to be sure.

Tomorrow brings the New Moon where the Lady sleeps for one night of the lunar. While she is always giving us so much light and healing, she will now be sleeping and we will have to provide the protection for her and the light for the darkness in the world.

This time of year brings about so much inspiration for me as I have said in the past, however, what I find interesting is that I know of so many people who really work on their spiritual paths now more so than any other time of the year. I know why I do it, but I wonder if others really know why they do something or never even notice what they are doing. Do we ever question why we think or do something? Are we afraid to find out that we don't really have any solid answer or don't want to believe that we don't have a reason for acting or doing something? Do we ever question ourselves?

Why do I support one candidate over another? Is the answer to yourself a real thought out answer or is it an easy one? Do we know why we believe in what we believe in? This is one aspect that people don't like looking at.  We often hear, "I like that guy for office because...." Because why? "Well, just because." Do you really believe the promises he makes will truly manifest? Maybe they will, maybe they won't but did you do the thinking to make a decision for yourself.? Do we ever stop to think that there might not be any real reasons. Hey, I'm saying there is anything wrong with supporting someone because you just like the guy, but do you know that that is the honest reason or are you making up reasons based on popularity? 

This subject could go on and on, however the one question that you should ask yourself is, "Do I truly and honestly know why I believe or don't believe in something?"  The true answer could surprise you.

Enjoy the days as they go by, soon the longer nights will be upon us.
